Post COVID19 Safty
At both studios we are taking COVID19 restrictions very seriously and ask that you do the same. As a yoga class we have a list of things that we are required to to do. Please read through the following list and let me know if any of the following are going to be a problem.
Please do not attend the studio if you have been in contact with anyone with covid in the last two weeks, or have covid symptoms.
Hand sanitizer will be at the door and must be applied before class.
Please bring your own mats and place them in 1.5m spacing. If you don’t have one You can buy one off Bonnie for $5
Please bring your own blocks, straps and eye pillows from now on, as it deamed unsafe to share props. If you don’t have these and you know you will be needing them them contact me and I will sell you props cheaply.
The bolsters can be shared, but only with the use of a towel covering the bolster, so students are to bring their own towel for this purpose. Again if you are not comfortable with this I am able to sell you your own bolster.
Hand towels are to be used to wipe off sweat and keep the floor free from sweat.
Biodegradable wipes supplied by the teacher at the end of the class, as sponges are no longer safe to share. A bin for the used wipes will be supplied.
Water bottles now need to be brought to class as glasses and water will no longer be supplied, due to possible cross infection.
Bonnie Maplestone has over 15 years yoga teaching experience and has taught all types of yoga and all types of people. She is a qualified, registered and practicing Osteopath and brings her training into her classes.
Studio classes are held at our Mitcham and Surrey Hills locations with no
more than 10 students to a class.
While one on one osteopathic rehab/yoga is held at our camberwell location
to book this see our osteopathy page. These osteopathic rehab sessions can be claimed on all health funds that have osteopathy benefits.
Bonnie loves to make her classes interactive and welcomes Questions on what we are learning and why, how the concepts we are working with can improve your yoga and your life. She is open to suggestions on what you would like to work on and achieve and will work with you to overcome any limitations or injuries that you have rather than making you sit out certain poses.
What to bring: All props are supplied so you don't need to bring anything, just be sure to wear comfortable clothing, we supply matts at no extra charge but if you would like to bring your own mat you are more than welcome.
