Bonnie Maplestone has over 15 years of experience teaching all types of yoga and all types of people. She is a qualified, registered, practicing Osteopath and brings her training into her classes.

Studio classes are held at our Mitcham and Surrey Hills locations and are limited to a maximum of 10 students per class. One-on-one osteopathic rehab/yoga is held at our Camberwell location (click here for more information and to book). These osteopathic rehab sessions can be claimed on all health funds that have osteopathy benefits.

Bonnie loves to make her classes interactive and welcomes questions on what her students are learning and why. She also thoroughly explains how the concepts that are being worked with can improve your yoga and your life. She is open to suggestions on what you would like to work on or achieve and will work with you to overcome any limitations or injuries that you have rather than making you sit out certain poses.

Classes are available online, one on one or as a small group at the below studios. They are also available in-home at a time that suits.

COVID-19 has meant that we have had to change the way we do things. Please ensure you read the "COVID-19 Safety Requirements" further down the page prior to booking your next class.

COVID-19 Safety Requirements

We are taking COVID-19 restrictions very seriously and ask that you do the same. As a yoga class, we have a list of things that we are required to do. Take the time to read over the following requirements and if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know:

  1. Do not attend the studio if you have any symptoms, have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for coronavirus, or have spent time with someone who may have been exposed to coronavirus in the last two weeks.

  2. Hand sanitizer will be at the door and must be applied before class.

  3. You will be required to bring your own mat and ensure they are spaced 1.5m when setting up. If you do not have a mat, they are available to purchase from Bonnie for $5.00.

  4. You will be required to bring your own blocks, straps, and eye pillows as it is unsafe to share props. If you don’t have these and know you will be needing them, please contact Bonnie who can make arrangements for your to purchase them at a reduced price.

  5. The bolsters can be shared, but only with the use of a towel covering the bolster, so students are to bring their own towel for this purpose. If you are not comfortable with this, please contact Bonnie who can arrange a bolster for purchase.

  6. Hand towels are to be used to wipe off sweat and keep the floor free from sweat.

  7. Biodegradable wipes and a bin for disposal will be supplied by the teacher at the end of the class, as sponges are no longer safe to share.

  8. Water bottles now need to be brought to class as glasses and water will no longer be supplied, due to possible cross infection.
